First, Wow am I the Only Female that ever visits these sites? Are all women doomed to die from zombies or run around behind their husbands and boyfriends screaming uselessly???? Seriously, girls, get it together….. We will have to rebuild the world which means babies. Which also means fighting With a baby on you. I advise men to read these, too.

That being said, Blades never run out of ammo!! Katanas are good IF you are highly trained in them. Zombietools.net has Fantastic blades to fit any Zombie dispatching need, including a version of a katana The Harvester, but also (my personal favourite) a Naginata The Reaper, 2 kinds of machette, a hand ax, a 12in blade dagger/hacking knife the Para Bellum that can be easily strapped to a thigh, a d’Capitan which is a fabulous sword modeled after a falcata and weighing only 1 kg or 2.25 lbs, and all are made of spring steel with T6 aluminium handles for weight. Like ANY weapon, you DO Have to Train! I think a good main sword, a backup shorter blade like a machette, a knife like the para bellum and a hand ax should all be tools to have. And, no, I don’t work for that site, I just think they have very good tools.

For those living in Oklahoma like me:
Join the state Militia! Then you can carry a gun in plain sight and not get arrested! But you should still be proficient in blades as there will be a day when there is no more ammo.

Since you decided to slander me, say that I'm an airsoft sissy, I've never shot a real gun, ect.

I know all the pictures, videos, and all that mess doesnt really mean that I "know" anything, but I definately DO know my way around guns. I know how to survive in the wild, all the YEARS I spent in the scouts, hunting with my father, grandfather, uncles, cousins, friends, shooting every kind of firearm I can get my hands on, and all of my comments sure do lend creedence to that fact that I KNOW what I'm doing, and what I'm talking about. Getting on here and cursing at me, just means that you're immature. Especially for a 10 year service vet. I've never really gotten down right rotten with anyone the way that you did me, and it was completely undeserved.

1) Weapons of choice would be..........My Brain and a detailed knowledge of the human anatomy. Zombies are still put together like we are.
     a) AR15 SBR (Short Barreled Rifle and yes I am legel to own it) 16 magazines with 28rounds each. GLOCK 19 with eight magazines of 15 rounds each. I would also have a Bug-Out-Bag with extra ammo and extra weapons cleaning gear. This would be my primary load out and the magazines all fit nicely in a combat proven chest rig that I am very comfortable using.
    b) For the purpose of evading the enemy I would have my SOCOM 16 with a 2-7x32mm Burris scope (mounted in the scout poition) and 8 magazines loaded with 20 rounds each 147gr FMJ. I would use this gun for longer range engagements and also it will serve well in the role of eleminating the noninfected hostiles. I will also have many extra rounds in the car for this rifle and it will be my primary while in the car. Before you all go craxy talking about muzzle blast and length of the weapon take it easy. Yes I understand that it will be loud and voilent whenfired from inside a car. But it is a great mid weight tool to accuratly engage targets out to and possibly past 500 yards.
     c) A Remington 870 Police Mag with a surefire light and extended mag tube. also wears a 6 round sidesaddle and a speedfeed stock. So this gun will hold 7 in the tube 1 in the chamber and an additional 11 rounds on the gun. It is a heavy weapon but is great for close in work and breaching locks on doors.
2) All of these weapons are currently in my inventory and are available in a moments notice. I also always have my Glock 26 with me and a Mosin-Negant Carbine in the car with 60 rounds. (This gun is so cheap that is is almost disposable so it stays locked in the trunk of my car.) The Glock 26 is small but will accept my Glock 19 magazines if needed.
3) I train will all of these weapons often. The Mosin-Negant in the trunk gets very little use but it is a simple bolt action rifle that needs very little training on. I also shoot IDPA matches and local informal matchs as aften as possible. In short I try to shoot all of the above weapons at least once a month. The Glocks and AR get most of the use. But the SOCOM is easy enough to use and it regularly gets taken out to hunt pigs and deers with.
4) I spent 10 years in the USMC as a combat engineer and I have multiple combat deployments so the AR is very, very familure ground. The other weapons I have been using for the better part of 6 years so I am more than comfortable with those as well. Shooting in matches has also helped develop techniques and weapons handling in wierd positions and angles.
5) No one is ready for the uncoming Zombie uprising. We can prepare as best we can but WTSHTF most of use will be cought completly by surprise. If we make it through the first 24 hours then our chance for survival will increase. Just imagine that you have to drop your life long love with a well placed slug. ARE YOU READY TO DO THAT.............I did not think so. Those of us that are competent with our firearms can do a lot in the initial stages of the outbreak by elemenating the infected. That my give use a good foothold for survival. If our overall plan is to hide and wait then we will all be eleminated for sure. I am a big fan of attacking before the enemy has a chance to form mass groups of the walking undead. It will be much easier to eleminate small groups than a group of thousands.

1. Weapons Of Choice-
     A. DPMS M4 Carbinewith a dozen mags, ACOG, taclight, wolf sling, and ranger rack chest rig.
     B. Kimber 1911 .45 with 8 eight round mags on a padded pistol belt.
     C. Cold Steel tomahawk on belt
     D. Reminton 700 SPS in drag bag with 10x Leopold scope and YHM Phantom 7.62 suppressor
     E. Cold Steel hunting spear
2. Yes, all these weapons are available in my home, plus many more not really suitable for long use for various reason ( lethality, ammo availability, durability, or age)
3. I'm a professional Infantry NCO with multiple combat tours and I love to target shoot with friends and family, so I think I've had enough training.
4. Enough said- I'm no Rambo, but I'm competent and know my abilities and limitations
5 Ready for the end of the world? Of course not, but I'm not ready to die a horrible screeching painful death at the hands of reanimated cannibalistic corpses either!!

Being a blade retailer I have more than enough sharp stabby stuff around, and no my katana's aren't "lazer sharpened, cryo what ever" they are folded steel, differently hardened and sharpened/polished with finger stones. My plan would be to bunker down,be quiet and wait and see rather than go out and join the zombie fest. I shoot every weekend, pistols, rifle and shotguns. I try to keep at least 500 rounds and preferably 1000 on hand for each calibre. I reload all my ammo, that way I know my weapons will like what I feed them. Been messing with swords and guns for 20yrs, so am I ready? YES. Will I survive? The zed's yes, what worries me more is the live ones.
