That video has been circulating around the web for a couple of years. Last thing I read about it was that it was supposedly movie footage. That said, it is pretty creepy.

I’m hoping it’s a scene from WWZ the movie. If it plays out like the book it will have flashbacks from many countries.

the video looks real.. if it was someone messing about it would of cost them abit of money to rent the helicopter out so i think its real we will all just have to keep our wits about us from now on

also notice that the zombies are showing up as hot so im guessing either they are fresh or not dead (some sort of weird rabies or something like that i would guess)

I believe its a viral advertisement for the game Stalker, or Stalker:Chernobyl or something like that. My brother sent it to me years ago and I thought it was effing amazing until I delved a little deeper and realized that it was a bunch of PR stuff.

I sincerely doubt this is real… Seeing as the video is at least 2 years old we would have heard something more about it by now, as let’s face it, we are a pretty vigilant bunch.
They have heat signatures, so I doubt they are the undead, unless the undead are capable of retaining a warm body (I haven’t read any books on the subject of zeds).
Also, some of those sprayed bullets must have hit, none of those things were even slowed, showing no sign of even getting a slight jolt. If they were hit it’s logical to assume there would be a slight spray of tissue/blood/other which would show a heat signature.
Lastly, there’s a LOT of fluid stored in the human body, when that guy was taken apart, surely there would be more fluid spraying than just the spurt from when the limbs were taken off. And there’s still large bits of him left there, why would they just leave a lovely tastey bit of human behind?

Yeah, I remember seeing this video too at least a year ago if not longer. It went viral for a while, but it was part of a game ad campaign. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if I remember right. Haven’t actually played it, but I heard it’s an alright game.

Two thoughts:
1. I really hope the Zs aren’t that fast. They seemed to be running really well over irregular terrain. If that’s the case things will be much more difficult than most of us are planning for.
2. This really shows the value of not panicking (admittedly a tall order when being chased by Zs). The running was spraying and praying on full auto, didn’t take down a single Z as far as I can tell. Also he missed a couple chances to go up, which might have saved him. The small building with the flat roof might have been a possibility, and the radio tower was only a few away and looked like a good escape.

First time i saw this i pretty much thought it was real, but like Jack Charlatan said it is just the trailer for a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game :) but still this video is pretty cool! ^^

Well we all know that this is fake. BUT it does bring up a few good topics. For one….. Many of you stated that if the Zeds move that quick then we are in for a tough time. True! But the fact remains that we can not assume that the Zeds will be slow moving and stupid. If you are planning for this then you would be well served in planning for the worst case senerio. And that is FAST MOVING ZEDS. Second point…….. Since there has not ever been a Zombie invasion we do not know what makes them tick. Thermal cameras should be able to pick them up fairly easliy. For one all the thermal imager does is pick up diffrences in the temperature of the area and then project it onto a tv screen. So while they may not glow “white” they will contrast with the surrounding terrain. Flesh ( alive or undead) looses heat at a diffrent rate than anything in nature.
The third point is that most everyone will be running and shooting like the guy did in the video. It should serve to illustrate that training is everything when it comes to defending yourself with any type of weapon. AND when the fight or flight you are either going to fall back on your training or run and die like the dude in the video.
Real or fake does not matter. The only thing that matters is how you view the footage. Look at it like a lesson learned. We WILL NOT know anything for sure about the Zeds untill they actually arrive and start to feed on the living……………..So that is all I have to say about that…………CHEERS

One thought on the matter:
There has been much talk about the heat signatures of the zeds in the video, and how real zeds won’t register as hot.
I’m not a scientist, but I took some biology and anatomy classes, and I’m pretty sure that movement of any kind would produce some kind of heat.
So my theory is: Zombies at rest produce no heat, while zombies in motion produce some (a very little) heat.
Of course, the anatomy and biology classes also said that zombies aren’t possible, and we all know the truth about that. So, grain of salt.

well they could be very fresh zombies. depending on what kind of climate they are in the body can take quite some time to cool down.

this video seems fake and im pretty sure its fake if the undead were coming back they wouldnt hav the ability to run cause there muscle and all that would not be as strong as if they were living and those zombies mustve been really strong to rip his limbs off that easily it just seems very unreall.

Zombies could possibly show body because movement causes heat. If they are real I’m prepared cause when zombies start knocking my 12 gauge will be blasting.
