Chances are you wouldn’t be the only Z savvy person in the park, let alone in the line. I’ve only ever been to one theme park it’s called Wet n Wild in Queensland, Australia. There’s only one entrance and one exit so leaving there seems a bit crazy considering that’s where the Z’s will be pouring in from. They’d assume some kind of riot is going on outside (as they always do) and close the park, security would try to subdue the “rioters” but seeing as 30 feet away from me are 5 or 6 hungry mofo’s I’d bail in the other direction.

My parents aren’t the theme park type and my best friend/blood-brother/partner in restoring the world in our image after the apocalypse lives 1800 kilometers away and those 3 people are the only ones I’d never leave behind in cold blood. My group of friends are welcome to follow as is anyone else seeing as I’m only running to the nearest fence, scaling it and heading as far away from anyone else as possible. I would prefer to stay in the park, using it as my main base before attempting any real escape but the closure of gates ensures a thick Z population and without any firearms or real weapons of any sort that’d make for one hell of a long stay in the hotdog vendors trailer.

On foot, may or may not be followed by a large group of survivors and with only a backpack stocked with water and Cheetos I’d walk away from roads, other theme parks (there’s another 2 within 1 kilometer) and keep walking.

Beyond that I don’t know… Keep moving, forrage for food, keep moving until I walked the whole month it would take to get to my best mates place. He lives in a sealed off unit complex with solid doors high walls and he’s the only one living there so yeah… that’s my awesome plan for escaping wet n wild. Or should I say Zed n Wild!!! HA!

I realize I’d probably die one way or another, I’d be interested in turning if I was bitten. Zombies are kind of a no-win situation.

Second, since everyone next to you is not a zombie yet and lets say it takes a few minutes if not a few hours for someone to turn, you will have some time as people are rushing for an exit. I would hold onto a few people as they are running, tell your friends and family to hang out to eachothers pants/belt and not let go for anything and hang on til you can get some open room to run.

Since it is a theme park, many attractions even booths are made of pipes and wood. Tear off a few weapons so you have something for later or for now. Now most places have booths but I honestly think a if a few zombies knew you were inside, they will just knock the booth over. So I think (unless you can get to some sturdy control room or inside of on the rides and be able to lock yourself inside) the best bet and quickest way to avoid trouble is to go under a ride or prize stand. They usually are sturdy and have some type of skirt. Get under the skirt, no zombie is going to be under here but if there was one that was crawling around, at least u can knock him off with what you have.

Wait it out, maybe you can save a few but the more people that know your under the skirt, the more likely the zombies will follow them under with you. So stay safe and quietly escape back to your car or maybe the opposite way into a field where you cant be seen by zeds.
