Train Like You Fight, Fight Like You Train
If anything else, this site is about being aware and ready for the undead. Much like the military, law enforcement, etc., you learn to train like you fight, and fight like you train. Meaning, if you can practice shooting at zeds, why not practice with some realistic targets?
The kind folks at at Fork Targets have made preparing for the undead apocalypse that much easier with an entire set of zombie related shooting targets. Why shoot anything but a zombie when trying to prepare? You need to be ready. You need to train your body and your mind to recognize these threats and be ready to take them out!

I’ve actually used these targets! Wicked nice targets. Good price too. Who wants to shoot at boring plain targets when you can use these?

Nice.
I use plain silhouette targets or occasionally hostage silhouettes most of the time, but zombie and other bad guy targets can be a fun diversion at times.
One problem though, bad guys, living or dead, are unlikely to have nice red spots painted on their vital areas. I’d rather see the targets not have those red spots.

I like the staggered kill zones. Not everyone is going to come at you standing straight up.
Not even zombies.

I posted this on another thread, but what about hanging up some coconuts? Right basic size and shape, and you can sway them for moving, irregular targets.

When and if I ever get the chance to do that I am going to, it’s a really good idea.

I love these targets! Its also not as easy as it looks at all. as a practical shooter doing IPSC, head shots are a special little number. trying that on an unsettling thing like a walking flesh-eating corpse will be crazy beyond 10 yards. what more if there’s like a bunch of them groanin’ at ya AND you know or are probably related to some of them! lol
oh wait, I did shotgun patterning w/ various 00 buck at different distances. you can’t count on these things hitting w/ enough brain-blasting pellets beyond 15 yards unless you’ve got a choke to control the spread.

I have similar targets. My brother and i were just recently at the range just yesterday. They work good and other people at the range tend t get a kick out of em, especially when you put a 3 round group half inch spacing in ones face at 200 yards with a 30-06, haha.
There was actually a special reaction force from one of the local police forces there doing shooting qualifications with the dept. .50 cal. lol. They asked if they could use one of my targets for apllicable training! haha i said sure. Sadly there was nothing left of their target haahaha
