Fun update. Just got an 870 which I traded my 500 for. Very happy with it. Basic pistol grip stock and I’m going to keep the pump without a vertical grip on it due to wear and tear on parts. About to put on the tactical fore end on simply so I can attach a light or whatever I choose

@Arthritis-There are times when I would be jealous of only having to spend fifteen minutes preparing to write. Honestly, it gets better with practice, and having an idea of what who want to say. Or, having a bad reaction. Hope that helps.

As to being shot and stabbed:

When I was a kid, we played with knives, and yes, I was stabbed several times. Also, when they say don’t run with knives, I experienced the bad end of that. Didn’t need stitches, but the lesson was learned. Don’t run with a knife unless its in a sheath, on a belt.

Being shot, when I was a teenager, I had my single shot 22LR leaned against a fence when I was crossing it. It was cocked, and when it fell, it shot me in the leg. It really hurt, I mean really bad. Kept it covered with bandages and and wore pants, and eventually it healed. It was really more of a grazing wound.

Now, as an adult, I have been shot at several times. And I’ve mentioned the school shooting I witnessed while in highschool several times.

I quit posting because no one was helping and everyone was bitching. I work in a prison and I hear up to 96 grown ass men bitching all day, not to mention throwing shit and piss like a bunch of animals when they don’t get their way.

Even after REPEATEDLY asking for help, almost no one stepped up with article ideas, much less actual articles.

Wheelgunner submitted some ideas and some other people who weren’t regulars on here turned in some horrible and very stupid article ideas. I didn’t really want to sit on here and rehash old articles either. Also, at the time of this last post I had a LOT going on personally and I just didn’t have the time or clarity of thought to write anything.

So with that being said, hows everyone been? What have you guys been up to? And as always, if you have any ideas, send them in.

First off I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before
writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Thank you!
